CUPE MARITIME REGIONAL OFFICE - 91, Woodside Lane, Fredericton, NB E3C 0C5
A minimum of 10 participants per workshop is needed to avoid cancellation. The Maritime region has implemented a Snow Storm Policy for keeping members and facilitators safe during chaotic winters. Facilitators, in discussion with the Education representative, will decide the day prior to an education session, if the workshop will be cancelled or not due to impending weather conditions. We will do our best to make this decision by noon the day before a session so that there is time to reach all participants to inform them of the cancellation. All workshops, with the exception of the Financial Officer workshop are scheduled for 1.5 days. Please note that CUPE Union Development Workshops will not be following public school closures, or late starts.
In response to the health concerns of our members and staff, CUPE has implemented a Scent-Free Policy at all of our workshops. Scented products such as hair spray, perfume and deodorant can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches. Facilitators and participants are asked to refrain from using scented products while attending our workshops and meetings. Thank you for your cooperation.
