We will be joined by Elder Albert Dumont, Poet, Storyteller, Human Rights Activist, Speaker, and an Algonquin Traditional Teacher. He will be speaking on what Unions can do to acknowledge and support reconciliation. Sherri Elliott, CUPE Alberta Aboriginal Committee’s Female Senator, will also be present to talk about the importance and significance of Orange Shirt Day.
