Parliamentary Procedure Essentials
Description: This workshop is a practical, hands-on introduction to participating confidently in union meetings. Through realistic meeting simulations and guided practice, you'll learn how to make motions, debate, vote, and chair meetings using CUPE's parliamentary procedure. Ideal for both new and experienced members.
Parliamentary Procedure for Chairs
Description: This workshop is a practical, hands-on workshop for members who want to chair meetings with confidence. Through realistic scenarios and practice, you'll strengthen your procedural judgment, learn new advanced motions, handle more complex meeting situations, and lead fair, effective meetings using parliamentary procedure. Prerequisite: Parliamentary Procedure Essentials.
