LET - Bylaw Essentials
May 14, 2026 (1:00pm-4:00pm (Eastern))

Good bylaws are an essential component of a well-functioning local. In this workshop, you will learn the principles of good bylaws and how to make sure they are in compliance with CUPE's national constitution. We'll also look at how clear language bylaws help our members get involved in the work of the union. NOTE: Please bring your local bylaws to the workshop.

The fee for this course is $25 for affiliated, $30 for non-affiliated and $35 for out of district to hold your spot. Please make the cheque payable to Sault Ste Marie District CUPE Council 606-421 Bay Street, Station Tower, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 1X3. Cheque must be received 2 weeks prior to the course, not later than October 22. Fees covers morning and afternoon snacks.
