This is an IN-PERSON workshop being held at the BC Regional Office.

All members must pre-register to confirm their spot and must provide their own information to receive the credit for successfully completing the course.

PARKING: Parking is not available at the BCRO and there is very limited street parking. There are paid parking lots across the street near Metropolis mall or best option is SkyTrain (Metrotown station).

What does a CUPE steward do? If you are a new steward and want to learn how to help CUPE members solve workplace problems, this introductory workshop is for you!

In this 6-hour workshop, you will learn:
• investigating workplace problems;
• filing a grievance;
• meeting with management;
• dealing with workplace complaints.

NOTE: Please bring a copy of your collective agreement to the workshop.
