Luc Cyr was elected trustee at the 2017 CUPE National Convention. He has worked for the City of Ottawa/OC Transpo as a garage supervisor for the past 13 years. Luc joined CUPE Local 5500 in 2008 and was elected secretary-treasurer in 2010, then president in 2019 until 2021. Luc is an Indigenous worker and a member-facilitator. He served as an Ontario provincial trustee for five years. Luc currently lives in Ottawa and enjoys family time, travelling and fishing.
