Kerry’s Place Autism Services Workers proudly provide care for members of our community. In Madoc, Tweed, and Belleville, we are known for our high quality of service and the connections that we make among our clients. We got in to this line of work to help our most vulnerable, and that’s what we want to keep doing.
We are bargaining for a new contract, and need your support. While we do our best at work day in and day out, our working conditions have deteriorated for several years. We remain chronically underfunded and understaffed. We do not even have access to WSIB. Our employer is offering us wages far below the sector standard. This all while they plan to expand our housing capacity by 25%, inevitably increasing our work loads.
