Two HEU members, fired for trying to organize their co-workers at long-term care home in Creston BC, have got their jobs back.

The workers were fired during an organizing drive at Crestview Village last September. The settlement, reached with Golden Life Management would reinstate them with back pay.

In the settlement, management admits to interfering with workers’ rights to join a union and promises not to do so in the future.

The agreement resolves several unfair labour practice complaints filed by HEU.
