National Sector Council Conference - Fighting Austerity, Inflation and Privatization

Join CUPE members from across the country to share information about work in your sectors and to gain new insights from exciting guest speakers and panelists.

The conference is a great opportunity to build collective strength with other CUPE leaders and activists.

Masking:

Occupational health and safety is a shared responsibility. As such, the 2022 National Sector Council Conference will require mandatory masking to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All participants, staff, and guests will be required to wear a mask throughout the event.

 

Vaccination policy:

CUPE recognizes the worldwide impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and acknowledges our role in helping prevent the spread of this disease by supporting the vaccination effort. CUPE has a vaccine policy, which you can read here. This policy applies to CUPE organized events, including CUPE’s National Sector Council Conference. All conference registrants will be required to adhere to this policy.

CUPE is Canada’s largest union, with over 800,000 members. It is also a very diverse union in terms of the sectors it represents. Our members work in eleven different sectors. Some sectors have over 150,000 members each, such as health care, education, and municipal services, while others have fewer members.
