On Saturday, June 4, CUPE is hosting a workshop on contracting in. From outsourced to in house: Save money, avoid headaches features municipal leaders and policy experts discussing the benefits of in-house service delivery. The workshop will launch a new report exploring why local governments are ending outsourcing and returning to in-house service delivery.

The FCM annual conference is a great opportunity for CUPE to connect with municipal leaders and staff, and work together on strengthening our communities. Through our trade show booth and our participation in the conference panels and workshops, CUPE ensures workers’ voices are part of the national municipal conversation on protecting public services.
