On Holocaust Remembrance Day, and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, CUPE remembers the six million Jews and millions of other innocent victims who were murdered during the Holocaust. We stand in solidarity with survivors, their families, and their communities in solemn reflection on this horrific chapter in human history.

In a moment of rising hate and antisemitism in Canada and around the world, CUPE reaffirms our commitment to combating antisemitism, racism, and all forms of oppression. The Holocaust reminds us of the devastating consequences of unchecked racism, hatred, and intolerance. Today and forever, we vow: never again.

CUPE is dedicated to fighting for justice and equality, and against discrimination, bigotry and hatred in all their forms. Today and every day, we can honour the memory of those lost by fighting for a better world where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
