CUPE 1764, representing Durham ‘inside’ municipal workers, reached a tentative agreement with the Region of Durham early this morning after a marathon bargaining session. The workers will be voting on the tentative settlement today with the possibility of returning to work later this week if the agreement is ratified by both parties.

The workers have been on strike since June 19, 2014. No further comments will be made by the union while the workers vote on the tentative contract.
