The School board sectoral meeting will provide education support staff an opportunity to share bargaining and campaign experiences. Early learning programs, cuts to educational assistant positions and province-wide bargaining are issues that have come to the fore this year. Declining enrolment remains a challenge in this sector, as does privatization. In addition to touching on these issues in the caucus meeting itself, members will have an opportunity to inform others of resolutions concerning the school board sector coming to the convention floor.
