Unfortunately, we are currently on strike as we fight for a fair agreement that recognizes the hard work our members do. As a result, some city services are unavailable or have been disrupted. This is a last resort, as the city has continuously refused to negotiate fair wages through nine months of negotiations.
All we are asking for is wages that are similar to those given to other non-union staff at the city. Like them, our members have also felt the pressures from the high cost of living in the GTA. We believe they deserve fair wages too.
We need your help to end the strike at the City of Brampton!
