Is the election boring you? Well this might spice it up a bit. CUPE has launched an online election pool as part of its Federal Election 2000 web site.
The site features background and summaries of the five major partys positions on issues important to CUPE members and to progressive voters in general: health care, education, free trade, investing the surplus, to name a few
But it also gives you a chance to win a CUPE Melton leather jacket. If you come closest to guessing the actual seat count for all the political parties as well as the independents, the jacket pictured on this page will be yours.
