Saskatchewan’s three health sector provider unions – SEIU West, CUPE 5430 and SGEU – held ratification votes on the contract offer from the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO), representing health-sector employers. The unions shared the results with their members on April 18.

Members of SEIU West voted to reject the contract offer.

Members of CUPE 5430 voted to accept the contract offer.

Members of SGEU Health Providers voted to accept the contract offer.

The offer included a five year contract with pay increases of 0%, 0%, 1%, 2% and 2%.

The three unions are currently working together to determine next steps, including notifying SAHO.
