MONCTON In a letter to the Premier today, the Union (New Brunswick Council of Hospital Unions) requested the government to return to the bargaining table.

We cannot believe that the Premier continues to force a hospital strike with his rejection of the Independent Conciliation Board recommended settlement said David Rouse, President of CUPE Local 1252.

The citizens of New Brunswick now realize it is the Premier who caused this strike by refusing to accept the Independent Conciliation Board recommendation said Rouse.

Our sincere hope that the Premier cares enough about the patients of Moncton to set aside his aggression and picks up the Independent Conciliation Board Report to move this dispute to settlement concluded Mr. Rouse.
