The unions representing 700 members in the intermediate and family-type resources (RI-RTF) affiliated with CUPE are pleased to announce that they have reached a tentative agreement with ministerial representatives.
The content of this agreement will be submitted to the membership at general meetings as soon as possible so that it can be ratified.
“We cannot provide any more details on that agreement for the time being, as the content is reserved first and foremost for our members,” explained Alexandre Prégent, a CUPE union representative.
Our workers in the RI-RTF provide a living environment that complements a natural or institutional setting and work in a spirit of partnership with public institutions that provide professional follow-up for users entrusted to them. These resources also provide support to these institutions that have a mandate to provide quality health and social services to persons needing them, who are often vulnerable.
