The strike at the Windsor-Essex Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) has expanded to include four members of Local 3741-1, representing occupational and physiotherapists working with the Centre.

The four joined members of Local 3626 on the picket line July 20.

The clerical workers had taken job action two weeks earlier, after talks with management broke down. Both groups are pressing for improved job security and a wage increase that would assure parity with neighbouring CCACs.
