Workers at Sienna Senior Living have been bargaining with the employer for almost two years. Despite the best efforts of the bargaining committee, the employer continues to table an unfair compensation package for our members.

In a recent conference call to investors, Sienna reported a 16.7% increase in profit from their retirement homes, a 12.1% jump in overall revenue, $144 million in equity raised, and $1.1 billion in unencumbered assets as of March 31, 2025. Sienna is doing better than ever. Yet the average base wage in our workplace is still under $18/hour; barely above the $17.20 minimum wage. Many of our members have not received a wage increase since January 2023.
