Regional Vice-President, Quebec Denis Bolduc has been a CUPE member since 1986. He was a journalist with the Journal de Québec (Québécor Media) for 25 years. He was president of Local 1450 until he was elected in May 2011 to the position of General Secretary of SCFP-Québec. He was elected Regional Vice-President for Quebec at the 2011 CUPE National Convention in Vancouver.

Danny Cavanagh was first elected as president of CUPE Nova Scotia on April 27th , 2005 at the annual convention in Sydney. Danny is one of the longest serving members of the executive of CUPE Nova Scotia. He has held other positions on the executive starting as bulletin editor, than as recording secretary, moving to vice president and today as president of the division.

Michael Hurley has been a hospital worker and a CUPE member since 1977. He was fired and convicted of contempt of court during the illegal 1981 Ontario hospital strike. He has been the president of the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions since 1990, and is first vice-president of CUPE Ontario as well as regional vice president on CUPE’s National Executive Board for Ontario.
