CUPE is establishing a brand new national multi-employer defined benefit pension plan. The plan will be jointly trusteed with the Service Employees International Union and CUPE and will be available to members across the country. This exciting new initiative fulfils a national convention resolution and creates a pension plan for CUPE members, particularly in health care and small social service locals, where it has been impossible to negotiate pension coverage.
