Save the date! CUPE Education will be offering online training for experienced pension trustees and advisory board members in May 2022.
The five-day workshop will cover plan funding, valuations and discount rates, oversight of service providers and trustee accountability. Designed with experienced trustees in mind, the workshop will offer a union perspective that may be missing from industry training. It will include five half-day Zoom sessions, as well as online work to be completed between sessions. This workshop is in English only.
The dates for the workshop are Thursday and Friday, May 12 and 13, and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, May 16-18, 2022. More information, including registration fees and how to apply, are coming soon. Stay tuned!
