CUPE Local 894 is comprised of over 220 health care workers who work as Administration, Clerical in Physiotherapy, Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging, Registered Dieticians, Registered Practical Nurses, Housekeepers and Facility/Maintenance, Medical Radiation Technologists, Sonographers, Echocardiogram Technicians, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and work across five different sites in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

Not having a real wage increase in years has taken a toll on members of CUPE Local 894. They’re feeling the stress of rising inflation, mortgage rates, and the cost of living, on top of increased workload.  These workers are ready to avoid a strike if their Employer is ready to offer them a real wage increase.

These Health Care workers need your support.

Sign your name to demand that Group Health Centre workers get the respect they deserve! Your email will be sent to members of the Group Health Centre board of directors and leadership team.
