More than 250 union activists from Québecs social affairs sector adopted an action plan that calls for a general strike against the Charest government.
The government might seem more open to listening but our members will not be fooled, says Social Affairs Council president Marcel Girard. The legislation adopted in December is still there and our members as much as anyone will feel the consequences.
The plan calls for a series of strike votes to be taken between now and mid-March.
