VICTORIA CUPE members, led by their provincial president Barry ONeill,

are rallying outside the Conference Centre today in protest against the

Liberal government budget.

Thousands of public sector workers, including CUPE members in many sectors,

will be further devastated by todays budget, said ONeill, president of

the 65,000-member provincial union.

The services they provide are under direct attack from Finance Minister

Gary Collins and Premier Gordon Campbell.
