Alberta OHS Update 4 – Right to Refuse
Starting June 1, there will be new rules and new processes around the right to refuse dangerous work in Alberta. The onus is no longer on the worker to refuse unsafe work, and there are new measures to prohibit employers to require work in a situation known to be dangerous to worker health and safety.
