New analysis from the Trade Justice Network dismantles key arguments the Harper government is using to promote CETA.

The study debunks misleading and inaccurate information that the federal government has given municipal governments. Many municipalities are concerned about the impacts of the proposed investment and trade pact between Canada and the European Union.

The Harper government has launched a PR offensive, aiming to smother growing opposition to CETA. To date, more than 50 municipalities have passed resolutions questioning CETA or calling to be exempt from the deal’s rules.
