Gordon Campbell’s track record on commitments he made to HEU members before the election was the focus of an article by Vancouver-based columnist Murray Dobbin that appeared in the Winnipeg Free Press this past weekend.

Dobbin counts no fewer than 16 broken promises that Campbell made in his interview with the HEU Guardian in December, 2000. Those shattered commitments include limiting tax cuts to the bottom two tax brackets, not ripping up collective agreements and assuring HEU members that they shouldn’t fear privatization from a Gordon Campbell government.
