A map of the world is speckled with little yellow dots in the centre of the new annual report on CUPE’s international solidarity work. They reveal CUPE’s remarkable efforts to spread the global justice message from the southern cone of South American to the far reaches of Asia and Africa. Whether it’s a Global Justice Fund project, a letter of support, a member’s visit to a remote area or a full labour tour to work with another country’s public sector union movement, CUPE has been active internationally for the past 20 years. Read about it in the International Report 2007-2008.
