CUPE, OPSEU and Ontario Health Coalition to launch court action today to stop hospital privatization

TORONTO The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU), and the Ontario Health Coalition (OHC), will hold a news conference at 2:00 pm today, at the Delta Chelsea Hotel, 33 Gerrard Street West, in the Baker Room, 2nd Floor, in Toronto, to announce a joint court action they are filing against the Ontario government.



Todays court action is aimed at halting the privatization of hospitals in Ottawa, Brampton and Toronto.



CUPE was part of successful court challenge 18 months ago to block the Conservative governments sale of Hydro One.
