OTTAWA – Judy Darcy, president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) will speak to Ottawa hospital workers at a meeting of Local 4000 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees on Wednesday, February 27th, at 7:30 p.m. at the Travelodge Hotel, 1476 Carling Ave., in Ottawa.

Ottawa hospital workers are launching a campaign to fight contracting-out and privatization after their employer invited for-profit contractors to bid on providing Housekeeping, Nutrition & Food, Materials Management and Facility Operations at the hospital.
