CUPE members from the Living Prairie Museum in Winnipeg celebrated Earth Day by focusing on making better lifestyle choices for the good of the planet.  Using the theme “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, do without!” as their guide, the Earth Day event featured speakers, displays and kids drawing environmental pictures for CUPE’s Earth Day Poster Contest.  Local 500 members handed out reusable shopping bags to all visitors to the museum and discussed choices for a greener future.
