On February 7, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the provincial Premiers will be meeting in Ottawa to discuss the future of Canada’s public health care system. CUPE will join labour and community allies outside the meeting to send a loud and clear message to the politicians: protect public health care.
National President Mark Hancock will join the Canadian Health Coalition, and leaders from the Canadian Labour Congress and other health care unions. Gather with us at 12:00 noon, at the Terry Fox Statue across from Parliament Hill, in Ottawa. Together we can let the politicians know that there is no room for profit in our healthcare system.
