Members of CUPE 1251 voted to ratify the tentative agreement reached with the provincial government Feb. 13.

A tentative agreement was reached hours before the government was supposed to introduce back-to-work legislation.

CUPE 1251, which represents more than 500 Community College Custodians, Correctional Officers and Human Services Counsellors, went on strike January 10, 2008.  This strike forced the community colleges across the province to close their doors.

The agreement is a four year contract.  Details have not been released.
