REGINA: The CUPE Cool Bus will be making the last stop on its four-week tour when it pulls up to the Saskatchewan legislature on Monday, October 22, the first day of Education Week.

The Cool Bus, sponsored by the 3,500 school support workers represented by CUPE, has visited 15 communities to promote the need for improved government funding of K-12 education.

On Monday, representatives of the CUPE Education Workers Steering Committee, will present hundreds of petitions and postcards to Pat Lorje, Acting Minister of Education, urging the government to give education a hand.

The presentation will take place on the steps of the legislature at 11:00 a.m.
