CUPE 2057, representing support staff with the Affluents school board northeast of Montreal, has succeeded in contracting in the caretaking for two area high schools.
The 1400 support staff with the Affluents school board chose CUPE to represent them in a representation vote held last November. Since then theyve had a busy year, dealing with a wide range of uses. This victory is a big boost as they tackle the issues that lie ahead.
