Hundreds of CUPE members from across Canada are poised to assemble in Montreal for CUPEs 9th National Health and Safety Conference. Themed Step Up! Take Action! this conference is focussed squarely on generating change on four workshop topics: ergonomics, joint health and safety committees and political activism, indoor air quality and workplace toxins. In addition to these dynamic workshops, the conference also boasts an outstanding lineup of guest speakers: Dr. Linda Murray, Dr. Karen Messing, Dr. Katherine Lippel and Dr. Robert Storey. Each will speak on different aspects of health and safety, delivering a blend of political and informative words to inspire CUPE members to take action.
