Local Water Watch activists from across Canada are invited to participate in a national Water Watch Summit to take place in Ottawa on September 17 to 19.

Sponsored by CUPE, the Council of Canadians and the Canadian Environmental Law Association, the summit will bring together groups concerned that our precious water resources are being privatized, traded and degraded. Speakers, panels and workshops will allow people from different sectors to share their concerns and exchange ideas for action.

The goal of the summit is to adopt a Peoples Agenda for Water, including a plan to protect public ownership and control of our water and its conservation for future generations.
