OTTAWA A coalition of groups challenging the Liberal governments pre-election posturing in defence of publicly funded and publicly delivered health care will host a news conference tomorrow morning, Thursday, May 6th.

The groups will provide comment and further evidence that the Liberal government is not meeting its obligations under its own legislation, the Canada Health Act.

The organizations involved in the coalition are the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU), the Canadian Health Coalition (CHC), the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP) and the Council of Canadians.
