A meeting was held this afternoon between City officials and officials of CUPE 416, regarding the proposed contracting out of City jobs in solid waste.
“This was the first of what will, no doubt, be many meetings,” said Mark Ferguson, President of CUPE 416.
“We received some information – very preliminary – and will certainly be requesting much more information.”
Ferguson will have no further comment on today’s meeting.
