The Conservative government is allowing employers to pay up to 15 per cent less to skilled migrant workers, as part of recent changes to Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program.

Allowing employers to fast track applications for migrant workers (from the current twelve weeks to just ten days) and paying workers less than the average wage, sends a message that the government believes migrant workers are not equal.

Tell Ministers Jason Kenney and Diane Finley this is unfair, discriminatory and will drive down wages for all workers. It’s time for fairness for migrant workers!
