TORONTO - The Ontario Electricity Coalition challenges Ontario’s new premier to do the right thing for all Ontario residents, and make it the first item of business in the new job to halt the scheduled May 1st opening of the electricity market.

Sir Adam Beck, the founder of public power in Ontario, is revived and will join OEC members in delivering the challenge to the new Conservative leader.

The Ontario Electricity Coalition is a broad based organization dedicated to protecting at-cost, reliable, electricity in Ontario. The Coalition calls for truly accountable, publicly owned, environmentally responsible electrical utilities.
