(Sydney) Employees of Cape Bretons Society for the Treatment of Autism have ratified a new, three-year contract.

CUPE 4172 represents 100 Residential Rehab. workers at the Society. CUPE National Rep. Kathy MacLeod says, In a ratification vote held yesterday, a majority of the workers voted to ratify the new deal.

The new contract includes all of the provisions negotiated centrally by CUPE on behalf of some 800 Adult Residential Centres (ARC) employees across the province, along with some additional local improvements.
