The members of CUPE Local 2204 would like to thank parents, community child care activists and supporters for their help in achieving a collective agreement, without a lockout or strike at Andrew Fleck daycare in Ottawa. “Your participation in our call to action and bargaining support campaign helped us achieve our bargaining goals of protecting seniority rights and avoiding concessions on pregnancy and parental leave,” said CUPE National Representative Susan Arab.
