On behalf of 10,859 Air Canada flight attendants across the country, the Air Canada Component of CUPE would like to thank Minister O’Regan for his work and congratulate the Honourable Steven MacKinnon on becoming the new Minister of Labour.
Working in an industry that does not pay workers for the entire time that they are in uniform and on the job, Canada’s flight attendants know the importance of strong labour laws that protect workers and see that they are fairly compensated for all the work that they perform. We look forward to working Minister MacKinnon on bringing an end to unpaid labour in the airline industry.
