Alexandre Boulerice, a communications representative for CUPE-Quebec, is the NDP candidate for Montreal’s riding of Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie. His main concerns are job creation, cultural issues, immigrant integration, global warming, scientific research, affordable housing and public transportation.
Boulerice previously worked as a journalist with LCN and TVA before moving on to the Union des travailleurs et travailleuses accidentés de Montréal.

He first joined Jack Layton and Thomas Mulcair’s team for the 2008 election campaign. Alexandre Boulerice is back in the game to offer residents of Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie a real leftist, ecological alternative to improve their quality of life.
Originally from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the father of a family of four children has been living in Montreal for more than 20 years. He is active in several cultural organizations, including Festival Chants de Vielles on Montreal’s South Shore.
