Toronto Members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), along with CUPE Ontario President Sid Ryan, will be visiting Community, Family and Children’s Services Minister Brenda Elliott to deliver a Valentine’s message today.
The CUPE members work at associations for community living (ACLs) across the province. Their high workload and low wages have been the subjects of studies by management consultants KPMG and researchers at McMaster University. Members of the ACL Bargaining Committee will launch their Fair Wage Campaign with the visit to Elliott’s constituency office in Guelph.
