CUPE health care workers from Victoria to St. John’s.

Where:
Starting at the Ottawa Congress Centre and ending at the Bank of Montreal on the corner of Sparks St. and O’Connor St.

When:
Thursday, February 6, 2003, 12:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m.

Why:
To highlight the dangers of privatized health care, for-profit hospitals and to point out the corporate interests pushing privatization.

The Bank of Montreal is among several corporations that made donations to the Ontario Tories and Health Minister Tony Clement and is now part of a consortium short-listed to own and operate a new, privatized Royal Ottawa Hospital.
