SLS - Challenging racism in the workplace

Racism doesn’t just come out of the blue. This workshop explores the relationships between racist ideas and behaviours on the one hand, and institutions and systems on the other. It also provides a space for participants to explore how racism plays out in our workplaces as well as in the labour movement. With an emphasis on equipping stewards, this workshop clarifies what stewards can do to challenge racism and what strategies they can adopt in that fight.
